The creator of the original lightsaber is coming to WonderFest! Sunday Only!

We’re thrilled to welcome Roger Christian—an English set decorator, production designer and feature film director. He won an Academy award for his work on the original STAR WARS and was Oscar-nominated for his work on ALIEN. DOLLAR BOTTOM, his 2nd short film, won an Academy Award for Best Dramatic Short Film. Christian directed the second unit on both RETURN OF THE JEDI and STAR WARS EPISODE 1 – THE PHANTOM MENACE.

Roger will be here on SUNDAY ONLY with our friend David West Reynolds to promote his new documentary, GALAXY BUILT ON HOPE.

Other feature credits include THE SENDER, NOSTRADAMUS, FINAL CUT, UNDERWORLD, MASTERMINDS and JOSEPH AND MARY.
