GarageKits.US brings you two brand-new Friday workshops. These are separately ticketed events.
Friday from 9am-5pm. This class will focus on different techniques that will expand the arsenals of both beginner and advanced painters alike. The first class will be taught by “painter extraordinaire” Rick Cantu, and will feature the first in a series of 1/3rd-scale original sculpts entitled “Tempting Evil” currently being sculpted by the incredible Roberto Von Behr.
Jim Capone will teach a BEAUTY PAINT UP portion of the Victoria sculpt. We've had several people asking for a little something more than just the GKC's/Jim Capone Fleshtones Seminar. So class participants will be able to choose to do either a Horror Paint Up (taught by Rick Cantu) or a Beauty Paint Up (taught by Jim Capone).

Friday from 9am-5pm. Students will receive sculpting instruction within a limited class setting to create a ¼ scale bust of the female head with hair and inclusive of shoulders. The bust will be made using an armature base and sculpting using a polymer clay. All tools and materials needed will be provided and are yours to keep.
Each student’s work may progress at different levels, and at different paces, while the objective of the class is to have a fully finished piece, depending on the pace of each student, please keep in mind that this may not always be achieved.
