at WonderFest 2013

Kitbuilders University is now Figure Artists Airbrush Asylum (FA3) at WonderFest 2013. Just as in past years, the class will be held on Friday and feature airbrushing and figure kit finishing instruction using products from Badger Air-Brush Co. and Black Heart Models. The class will be held on Friday May 17 from 10am to 3pm.
FA3 will continue the KBU tradition of providing hands on instruction to participating modelers of all skill levels. This year the class will feature two notable headliners, Gordon Oberman and Jeff Camp, both regular contributors to Amazing Figure Modeler magazine. And, they will be assisted by Badger owner, Ken Schlotfeldt, and Black Heart owner, George Stephenson.
FA3 participants will receive:
- A Badger Air-Brush Co. Renegade Krome airbrush;
- A Badger airbrush compressor;
- Badger airbrush paint;
- Model finishing supplies;
- Five hours of airbrushing and model finishing instruction from headliners and assistants;
- Black Heart’s 1:1 scale (life-sized) resin wall-hanger of Frankenstein’s Monster sculpted by Mike Hill and debuting at WonderFest;
- Discount coupons for Badger and Black Heart merchandise.
- Lunch.
Gordon Oberman will demonstrate techniques and color application for putting a realistic finish on Black Heart’s Frankenstein Monster. Jeff Camp will demonstrate techniques and color application for a convincing “grey scale” finish on the Monster. You won’t want to miss this.
Tuition is $325. For modelers supplying their own compressor, tuition is $245. The retail value of this package is more than $600!
