Someone do a demo on painting eyes please!

As of April 8th, only two of our Friday Pre-Show Workshops still have seats left! BUT there's still time to get in!

One is AFM's Model Boot Camp, taught by by Dave Prosser, where you'll learn techniques for painting a gorgeous Mummy diorama and then take it home!

The other is a beginner class on 3D Modeling for 3D Printing taught by experienced instructor and 3D wizard, Stephen Burns.

Are you an IRON MODELER?
WonderFest Saturday, June 1st 6 pm-10 pm

It’s like ‘Iron Chef,’ but with models! Sixteen 3-person teams are given a “base item” (could be a kit, could be a random item), a big pile of parts, greeblies and assorted castaway household items, and 4 hours to build the best model they can out of what they’ve got. A spray booth and paints are provided as well, but teams need to bring any glue or tools.

At the end of four hours, the models are judged and the Iron Modeler champion team is crowned, giving them bragging rights for the next year. Oh, and there’s prizes too.

Official start time is 6pm. Teams should arrive no later than 5:45. If your team is not there by the 6pm start time, another team will take your place.

Filling them out online, but still having to stand in the massive line to pay for them isn't really helping the main issue. Could we not have some way to lay the fees online and bypass the line altogether? Otherwise we're not "avoiding the lines" at all.

If you have an out-of-the-box spaceship or mech, please mark it as such on your entry forms. That will make the job of picking TAG Team's Best OOTB Spaceship and Mech easier for us. Good hunting to you all!

I had just messaged you here about teaching workshops at your con before you posted this, but no one responded. Unfortunately, I don't do 45 minute demos though. My stuff is mostly 2 hour, hands on courses for con attendees, cosplayers and independent film makers. I work cons all over the southeast. Sorry I don't fit what you're looking for. 😔

Can crochet count? Asking for a friend.

I hope someone volunteers to teach how to paint eyes
